Okay, today I've put up a tip jar. Here's the deal.

If you run a blog that's in my blogroll, please don't give. You give me more than enough value in your posts already.

If you know me personally, or ever have, please don't give. Putting up with me is price enough to ever have to pay.

If neither of those two restrictions applies to you, and you can afford to do so, then by all means pay whatever you think is reasonable. I'm not going to shut down the blog if I get nothing, but covering my monthly costs wouldn't hurt either.

If you are rich, and I mean ridiculously wealthy, and you think that I'm just the bee's knees, I sure wouldn't mind enough to buy a new iBook and a Cannon GL1, or XL1, or any high-end professional grade digital video camera, so that I can get cracking on producing my own DVDs. If you want to throw your money away like that, I won't stop you. In fact, I'd greatly appreciate it. But I'm not holding my breath.

Apart from that, though, I am getting by, so don't feel obliged if you don't want to.
